Giving and commitment

Parvis Solidaire

The Parvis Solidaire, a major fundraising event, is a real incubator for social and solidarity economy projects supported by companies in the 92 region, the Sainte-Geneviève Foundation, Paris La Défense and Obole.

The objective? To promote local projects of general interest in the district and its surroundings. To select these great actions, each year a competition is launched beforehand, and the jury, composed of representatives of companies or foundations, has the difficult task of choosing only a few!

The 4 criteria to be met :

  • Innovation, originality of the project,
  • The sustainability of the project and the clarity of its objectives,
  • The impact on society and its prospects for the future,
  • The quality of the presentation.

How are the projects selected?

Among the applications submitted during the call for applications, about twenty projects will be invited to the Grand Oral, in front of a jury composed of companies, partners, media and members of the evening's support committee.

The Grand Oral will follow the same format as the evening: 4 minutes to convince the jury! After deliberation, 6 to 8 associations will be selected as the most relevant in terms of impact, innovation, social interest and spin-off.

In concrete terms, how does the evening unfold?

The Parvis Solidaire is an event that brings together those who develop projects and those who can help finance them. An evening, halfway between fundraising and TED Talk.

Throughout the reception, these field actors have the opportunity to share their experience and also to present their concrete ideas to improve the daily life of the most fragile by bringing together donors, companies and actors of solidarity in the 92.

Each association has 4 minutes to convince an audience of local companies, patrons and donors in favor of projects serving the common good in La Défense and in the department. After each pitch, an auctioneer solicits the public and companies to make a donation with levels ranging from €5,000 to €100. Then, project holders, volunteers and donors are welcomed at a cocktail party to meet and exchange around stands dedicated to the projects presented.
