Reconfiguration of the Boulevard des Provinces Françaises
Dec 7, 2020 - Dec 11, 2020
As part of the Cœur de quartier operation, which is gradually coming to an end, Paris La Défense is completing work in December to widen the Boulevard des Provinces Françaises in order to widen the pavements and create dedicated lanes for public transport and bicycles.
This work, which will be completed at the end of the year, consists of :
- Completing and renewing all the networks serving the district
- Renewing all road structures and coverings
- Carrying out quality road and pavement development work (laying granite kerbs, laying specific coverings, resurfacing pavements and pedestrian easements, renewing public lighting and street furniture).
- Carry out new plantings.
Eventually, the Boulevard des Provinces Françaises reconfigured at 27 metres will consist of a 6-metre wide two-way carriageway, two 4.50-metre lanes reserved for buses and bicycles, and wide, comfortable pavements.
For the needs of the worksite (asphalt mix production), the Gascony junction will have to be neutralised on the nights of 7 to 11 December inclusive, from 9 pm to 5.30 am. Noisy work will be concentrated in the early hours of the night.
Deviations are to be expected.
Bus diversion Line 367 will be maintained and will be able to use its usual route until the end of the service. For lines 304, 259, 276 and N53, RATP will set up diversions until 5:30 am.
Pedestrian detour Follow the blue arrows on the map on the back. The crossing of the crossroads will not be possible during the closing nights.
