2024 Olympic and Paralympic events at Paris La Défense Arena

On the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Paris La Défense will be transformed into an Olympic swimming pool for the first time! Two pools will be installed to host swimming and water polo events from July 27, 2024.

Europe's largest indoor venue will host the Olympic events:

• swimming, from July 27 to August 4, 2024;
• water polo finals, from August 5 to 11, 2024;
• Paralympic swimming events, from August 29 to September 7, 2024.

178 swimming and para-swimming events will be contested in a 50-meter pool, built for the occasion. Starting at the end of July, you'll find events around the 4 main strokes: breaststroke, butterfly, backstroke and freestyle. A total of 17,000 spectators will be able to attend this must-see event of the Games, never before staged at the Paris La Défense Arena. The swimmers' changing rooms will be installed in the base of a stand built especially for the press.
