The EFS is organizing blood drives from August 24 to 17, 2023!

To counter the steady decline in blood stocks, the Etablissement Français du Sang is calling for your solidarity! From July 24 to August 17, 2023, the Etablissement Français du Sang (EFS) is organizing new blood drives at the Westfield Les 4 Temps shopping center.

Despite a "fair" start to the year in terms of donations, the Etablissement Français du Sang is appealing to donors to secure its reserves for the coming months! Summer is always a tricky time, with fewer donors on vacation. This period can therefore prove dangerous in the short term for treating patients waiting for blood.

Irreplaceable, blood donations help to treat over a million patients in France every year. So, to pursue its actions and meet patients' needs, the EFS is organizing an exceptional mobilization of its teams. For the occasion, 99 appointments per day have been opened!

Make a gesture and give your blood!

To give blood, you must:

• Be between 18 and 70 years of age;
• Weigh at least 50 kg;
• Have no flu-like symptoms;
• Make an appointment to limit the number of people waiting for blood;
• Bring proof of identity.
