The 3rd part of the conferences on the theme "At the Court of France" will take place on Monday, March 27! The historian Vincent Haegele will talk about the history of Armand Nogaret, treasurer of the Count of Artois, during a conference of about 1h30.

Every Monday since its opening, the Cité de l'Histoire organizes conferences entitled "Mondays of History After the history of Anne of Austria, and propaganda, the Cité de l'Histoire offers this month a cycle of conferences that takes us back to the eighteenth century. The first two meetings led by Hélène Delalex will cover the history of Louis XV and Marie-Antoinette, before leaving the place to Vincent Haegele for the last date.

A word about the historian

Vincent Haegele is a French historian and director of the Versailles library. A graduate archivist paleographer from the École nationale des chartes, he is particularly recognized for his work around the Bonaparte family. In 2017, he participated in the program Secrets d'Histoire devoted to Caroline Bonaparte, He has published numerous works including "Traites: New history of infamy" released this year. Thanks to the online ticketing service, it is possible to attend this conference only or to book directly for the three dates on this theme. (Two conferences by Hélène Delalex on March 13 and 20, 2023 and the one by Vincent Haegele).
