"The Templars, beyond the myth", May 15 and 22 at the Cité de l'Histoire

New conference cycle at the Cité de l'Histoire! The historian Julien Théry will be present for two conferences on May 15 and 22, 2023 on the theme "The Templars, beyond the myth".

The Cité de l'Histoire has been offering lecture cycles every Monday since its opening. The "Mondays of History" have already dealt with several subjects: from propaganda to the Court of France and the birth of the Republic!

A word about the historian

Julien Théry, archivist and paleographer, teaches at the Lumière University in Lyon. His research focuses on the forms of government in France, Italy and the Church in the Middle Ages. He is the author of several works on this theme including "the book of sentences of the inquisitor Bernard Gui" published in 2018.

It is possible to attend only one of the conferences or to book directly for both dates.
