"A history of propaganda", two conferences at the Cité de l'Histoire

Every Monday since its opening, the Cité de l'Histoire organises conferences entitled "Les Lundis de l'Histoire". After a first evening to discover or rediscover the history of Anne of Austria, the Cité de l'Histoire proposes a series of conferences on the theme "A history of propaganda".

The historian Fabrice d'Almeida will lead two evenings, on Monday 6 February and 13 February 2023, from 7 to 8.30 pm. A series of lectures organised by the Cité de l'Histoire on the history of propaganda. Thanks to the online ticketing service, it is possible to attend only one of the conferences or to book directly for all three dates.

A word about the historian

Fabrice d'Almeida is a French historian, professor of contemporary history and vice-president of the University Paris-II Panthéon-Assas. He is particularly known for his work on political propaganda and Nazi Germany. In 2018, he succeeded Franck Ferrand, director of the Cité de l'Histoire, as a consultant for Europe 1 radio, before joining the teams of France Info. His latest book is entitled L'histoire mondiale des riches.
