Cité de l'Histoire
- On January 23, 2023
Notice to amateurs! The Cité de l'Histoire has just opened its doors. And in addition to the many immersive experiences to be discovered, the place offers you to attend conferences entitled "History Mondays". On Monday 23 January 2023, the very first conference will be devoted to the fate of Anne of Austria.
Monday 23 January marks the launch of the first conference organised at the Cité de l'Histoire as part of the "History Mondays". This conference will take place under the Grande Arche, from 7 to 8.30 pm, and will be hosted by Jean-François Solnon. The theme? "Anne of Austria, a woman of state".
You will be able to discover the history of the Infanta of Spain and Portugal, who became Queen of France and Navarre by marrying Louis XIII, then regent of the kingdom during the childhood of Louis XIV. During her many years of reign, she had to face many difficulties, wars and revolts. So, to discover or rediscover the one who was seen by her son as "a great king", go to the online ticket office.
