At La Défense, the Cité de l'Histoire takes you on a journey through time

**The Cité de l'Histoire opened its doors on Tuesday 17 January 2023. This unique place offers three immersive experiences to go back in time.

Have you always dreamed of traveling back in time? It is now possible at La Défense, since the opening of the Cité de l'Histoire! You can discover the most beautiful moments of History thanks to three immersive experiences.

A journey through the centuries

In this room, actors will take you through an original and immersive journey to discover or rediscover the great moments of history. An itinerant experience lasting nearly 45 minutes.

A 360° tour around the destiny of Victor Hugo

A 360° videomapping will allow you to immerse yourself in the life of the writer Victor Hugo, until September 3, 2023. The Cité de l'Histoire offers a visual and sound show written by the director of the place and historian Franck Ferrand.

An interactive timeline

Along the corridor of time, you will have access to multiple tactile terminals grouping more than 400 dates of French History. Thanks to the interactive projection, it's up to you to know which event you want to learn more about.

Continue the experience
