Photographic exhibition of Jean-Gabriel Barthélémy from January 7, 2023

The photographer Jean-Gabriel Barthélemy will propose from January 07, 2023 a selection of unpublished pictures to rediscover history of our heritage, and this on the roof of the Grande Arche de La Défense!

1,200 m² of exhibition space in which three stories of three different places will be presented. What do these stories have in common? The traces of time and the passage of men...

• The dizzying Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Jean-Gabriel Barthélemy will take you through the maze of this historic building, highlighting the suffering of the structure even before the fire of April 15, 2019.
• The Palace of Versailles. The photographer-reporter will make you discover Versailles as you have never seen it. Boudoirs, vestibules and secret passages, these rare shots will show you the backstage!
• La Cité des 4000 de la Courneuve. The artist will take you this time to a much more real architecture! A set of gigantic bars of 4,000 dwellings which was one of the most beautiful jewels of the popular urbanism of the Fifth Republic. Powerful images from which a form of beauty results.

A real immersion in our heritage, through the centuries and the eclecticism of its people!
