**After Angers in Belgium in 2019, the final of the Best Sommelier of the World competition returns this year on February 12, 2023 in Paris La Défense Arena.
Every three years, the ASI (Association Internationale de la Sommellerie) organizes a worldwide competition and awards the title of Best Sommelier of the World. 34 years after the last edition in France, the event is back in Paris to the delight of wine lovers!
During the competition, nearly 70 candidates representing 67 different countries will compete during 4 days of high level tests. Knowledge of wines, quality of service but also ability to advise and make customers experience emotions, everything will be tested!
It is an intensive training, worthy of the greatest competitors, which awaits these men and women to prepare demanding and suspenseful tests.
