Concert 30 ans Taratata

The French music show, presented by star host Nagui, will be celebrating its anniversary at the Paris La Défense Arena. On Thursday 5 October 2023, more than 50 artists will take to the stage at 8pm to celebrate the show's 30th anniversary.

Thursday 5 October 2023 will be a day of celebration at the Paris La Défense Arena. To mark its thirtieth anniversary, Taratata is organising a charity concert in aid of the fight against cancer. More than 50 artists will take to the stage of the largest indoor venue in France.

The first Taratata programme was broadcast on 10 January 1993 on France 2. Initially focusing on rock songs, the programme was the brainchild of host Nagui and producer, director and composer Gérard Pullicino. Over the past thirty years, artists from all over the world have come on stage to perform their greatest hits live. Viewers have discovered or rediscovered Tryo, Alicia Keys, Scorpions, Lady Gaga, James Blunt, Daniel Powter and Hyphen Hyphen.

Over the years, the show has been broadcast on France 2, France 4, radio and the internet. The show has also seen a number of shutdowns, including one in 2013 that prompted viewers to launch a petition. The show then returned to prime-time in 2015, with stars including Johnny Hallyday, Laurent Voulzy and Selah Sue. The show, renamed Tarata 100% Live, is now broadcast once a month on Friday evenings.
