Cité de l'Histoire : two exceptional evenings on 6 and 7 October 2023 !

The Cité de l'Histoire is organising two exceptional evenings on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 October 2023, to celebrate two key figures of 19th-century France. During these two unique evenings, immerse yourself in the world of Victor Hugo and Juliette Drouet !

The Cité de l'Histoire will be the setting for two exceptional evenings. In collaboration with Alboflède Spectacles, the cultural centre will be celebrating Victor Hugo and Juliette Drouet, the French actress who was the writer's companion for almost fifty years, through a series of performances.

The Cité de l'Histoire plans to take you on an exploration of the different facets of Victor Hugo. The two evenings will feature an immersive show about the famous playwright and a performance entitled "Juliette, Victor Hugo, mon fol amour". Two other talks are planned for Saturday evening, as well as a discussion over a drink.

Programme for Friday 6 October from 8pm to 10pm :

• Immersive 360° show "Hugo, l'homme révolution" - Duration 0h25
• One-man show with music "Juliette, Victor Hugo mon fol amour" - Duration 1h10.

• Talk by Patrick Tudoret, author and director of the play - Duration 0h15
• Lecture by Franck Ferrand on Victor Hugo and Juliette Drouet - Duration 0h30
• Discussions over a drink.
