Preparatory work for line 15

Dear Sir or Madam
As indicated in previous Infoflash, the preparatory work to divert networks and reconfigure traffic lanes is continuing on rue Louis Pouey, place Louise Bourgeois and avenue du Général de Gaulle.
From Monday 19 February 2024, a new phase of works will begin in part of the pedestrian area between rue Louis Pouey and the bus lane (RD9A), see plans below. A fibre-optic telecommunications network will be relocated in this sector.
The works will be carried out in two stages to ensure the continuity of pedestrian traffic via the existing pavements and paths:
- from 19 February to the 3rd week of March: removal of the fibre-optic network and continuation of the roadworks.
- from the 3rd week of March: end of the reconfiguration of the traffic lanes and extension of the worksite area.
A new works zone will be set up (zone no. 2), which will be necessary for the continuation of the network diversions. Zone 1 will be vacated at the end of March. New tree planting is scheduled for autumn 2024.
