Roadworks in Place Louise Bourgeois and on the RD913

Jan 8, 2024 - Apr 1, 2024

Dear Sir or Madam

From the beginning of January, the preparatory work carried out by IntenCités15, the consortium in charge of the design and construction of the future La Défense station, will continue.

Roadworks will be undertaken in the La Rose-de-Cherbourg district in preparation for the dismantling of the networks currently located on the site of the future La Défense station. The work involves shifting the turning point for vehicles upstream of the pedestrian bridge and bringing into service a new configuration of the RD913. The various stages of the works are detailed below.

Stage 1: 8 January 2024 to 16 February 2024

The inner lane around Place Louise Bourgeois (also known as Place Oblongue) will be neutralised. This occupation will allow the creation of temporary roadways on the inside of the square.

Stage 2: from 19 February 2024 to 8 March 2024

The left-hand lane of the RD913 (in both directions) will be neutralised. This occupation will allow the creation of temporary roads (towards Rueil) in place of the central reservation.

Stage 3: from 11 February 2024 to 29 March 2024

Traffic on the RD913 (towards Rueil) will switch to the previously created temporary carriageways and the right-hand lane will be neutralised. The changeover will take place between 10am and 4pm. The temporary roadway will continue to be created (towards Paris) in place of the central reservation.

Stage 4: 1 April 2024

Between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., traffic on the RD913 (towards Paris) will be switched to the temporary roads previously created, and the temporary roads will be completed.

Pedestrian routes will be maintained and signposted throughout the works (shown in blue on the plan below).
