Work progress
The cleaning and asbestos removal work on the Le Michelet building is now complete.
The work to remove the façades has also been completed.
The PB 23 building on the Boulevard Circulaire side was demolished last December.
The protective equipment (scaffolding or bi-mats) installed will be maintained during the demolition work, level by level, using small-scale machinery.
Planning for the next three months
The work schedule will respect the regulations of the town of Puteaux and will be carried out from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm. They are broken down as follows: The work in the coming months will focus on demolition work and the removal of the associated rubble:
- Demolition by clipping (mini-machines) according to zones in red on the view below.
- Then mechanical demolition (large machines on the ground) according to zones in yellow on the view below.
Most of the demolition work will be carried out using pliers (concrete crushing) in order to avoid the use of rock breaker spikes as much as possible.
Closing of the Passerelle des Vignes from 10am to 4pm from March 8th.
For safety reasons during the demolition work on the two levels of the building above the footbridge of Les Vignes, the footbridge will have to be closed to public traffic.
In order to limit inconvenience, these closures will be limited to the 10:00 am to 4:00 pm time slot from Monday to Friday. A diversion route via the footbridge of the Elm will be set up.
The duration of the intervention will be a maximum of 5 weeks from Monday 08 March 2021.
Between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm: diversion via Rue de la République, Rue Bellini and the Passerelle de l'Orme.
