Paris La Défense and the integration agency ActivitY' sign a partnership
On March 1, 2023, Paris La Défense signed a one-year partnership agreement with the Groupement d'Intérêt Public (GIP) ActivitY'. The objective? To promote the socio-professional integration of people who are far from the labor market.
The partnership agreement signed with ActivitY' will enable Paris La Défense to benefit from personalized support to develop the social clauses to be inserted in the calls for tender of public contracts. In concrete terms, ActivitY' will help the public institution to identify the markets that could be concerned, ensure coordination with the local networks of actors for employment integration or propose candidates!
The integration agency intends to meet the labor needs of the companies holding the contracts, particularly in the areas of activity where there is a high tension in the workforce - public works, construction and eco-construction, structural and finishing trades.
At the end of this Convention, ActivitY' will carry out an assessment, based on various criteria:
- Number and type of contracts integrating social clauses
- Number of hours worked
- Profile of beneficiaries...
What are social clauses?
The social clause is a legal tool that allows a client to reserve part of the hours generated by a public contract for an integration action. When a public contract includes a social integration clause, the companies responding to the call for tenders must call on the services of people in professional integration.
And these measures can benefit everyone! Long or short-term jobseekers, disabled workers, young people, senior citizens or even RSA recipients. A real springboard towards a return to employment for all these profiles in difficulty.
Each year, with its integration clause facilitators, ActivitY' enables nearly 400 inhabitants of the city to be placed on contracts in the framework of regional development or service contracts, such as those of the Paris La Défense public establishment planned for 2023.
This partnership with ActivitY' contributes to the overall policy of combating socio-professional insecurity pursued by the Hauts-de-Seine department. ActivitY''s expertise will contribute to the transformation of the La Défense business district, but this approach also echoes the Raison d'Etre, through which the Public Establishment has defined objectives with social impact!
