Food Trucks and PSG, hand in hand for hospitals!

Since the beginning of the health crisis, the Food Trucks of the Paris La Défense fleet are more than ever mobilized to help the staff of the Paris Hospitals. Thanks to financial aid from the PSG, Food Trucks deliver up to 1,200 free meals every day to the carers mobilised.

Good meals for those who fight the epidemic on a daily basis, this is the nice project of Paris Saint-Germain and the association Street Food en Mouvement. Founded in December 2012, this association brings together quality mobile urban catering professionals.

Thus, 52 volunteers and 42 Food Trucks have agreed to help. Among them, ten of the twenty Food Trucks belonging to the Paris La Défense fleet! Congratulations to Wok & Roll, Kimpop, Chez Zaz, Le Beau Caillou, Le Tapas Truck, Cabane Cap Code, La Brigade, Cheesers, Le Trotter and Totin.

This operation was financed by the sale of 1,500 "Tous unis" jerseys on March 26th, which raised more than 200,000 euros.

The volunteers therefore took turns 7 days a week in production in the kitchens of the Parc des Princes, made available by the PSG, and in distribution to hospitals. From 9th April to 3rd May, the food, desserts and drinks are distributed in Food Trucks to the staff of the 11 APHP establishments, as well as to the Action contre la Faim association in case of surplus. In all, more than 25,000 home-made meals with fresh products will have been served since the start of the containment. A great victory!
