The Rose de Cherbourg district is the story of a metamorphosis! A large square to meet up in, a suspended walkway, new uses... today, the Rose de Cherbourg is completing its transformation into an active destination open to neighbouring districts.
The Rose de Cherbourg will be inaugurated on Wednesday 27 September, from 1pm to 7pm!
Meet at the central square - access along the Avenue du Général de Gaulle at no. 34 (opposite the YouFirst Campus Paris La Défense student residence)(add link)
A new destination at Paris La Défense!
Once an outlier, La Rose de Cherbourg is now part of this exceptional area. Rich, accessible and reconnected to the different sectors of Puteaux, this is a new destination for residents, students and employees. The afternoon will be devoted to entertainment for all!
Between the central square and the suspended promenade, come and join us for free activities:
- Initiations and demonstrations in the new skate park and on the basketball court! The Puteaux women's basketball team will be on hand to introduce you to the sport and give demonstrations! Just opposite, in the new skate park (at the back of the YouFirst Campus Paris La Défense student residence), the Session FreeStyle association will be on hand to introduce you to rollerblading, scootering and skateboarding in this new leisure area!
- Tours of the Hekla and Landscape towers (registration required - click on the links below). Come and visit these extraordinary towers, from 40 minutes to 1 hour per tower (please note that in order to give everyone the chance to visit, you will only be able to sign up for one visit to each tower and for one slot only)!

- Make-up stands and a merry-go-round for the little ones on the suspended promenade!
- Looking for a snack or refreshment? A candyfloss stand, popcorn and a drink will be on offer for the occasion.
- And from 6pm onwards, enjoy a concert on the Promenade Suspue with a guitar/vocal duo playing jazzy/soul tunes revisited for the occasion. Come and celebrate with us!
