Le Parc comes to life!
With the "Mise en Parc" project, Paris La Défense intends to make the slab flourish. Know that your new park is taking shape and you will be able to enjoy some green spaces this winter!
Less mineral, more vegetable! After several weeks of consultation at the beginning of 2019, Paris La Défense unveiled its Parc project, which aims to redevelop the esplanade into a real urban park. The seven hectares located between the Agam fountain and the Esplanade metro are gradually changing and, if you visit the district, you have not been able to miss it: a first sequence is already under construction!
Slabs and studs have been removed, masonry and network connections are in progress. Information cartels have been set up on the Esplanade to name and describe the various plant species. You will be unbeatable! We also thought of our little protégés who will benefit from nesting boxes fixed in the trees.
Even if the weather will not yet be suitable, those who are not afraid of cold will be able to enjoy the 1000 m² of green spaces that will replace the slabs this winter!
