The Cité de l'histoire will open its doors in Paris La Défense this fall!
Did you like the Eternal Notre-Dame experience? Then you'll love the Cité de l'histoire which is about to open to the public this fall! Amaclio Productions, in collaboration with Franck Ferrand, invites you to dive into the heart of the greatest sagas of the human adventure through three new experiences. A playful visit in the form of shows and immersive technological animations for the whole family!
A History of France tour
For 40 minutes, and through 17 rooms retracing the rich hours of our history, you will live a sensory experience over the scenes, with the voice of Franck Ferrand and actors as a guide. Immerse yourself in the French epic through this 4 dimensional journey.
A 360° show
Halfway between cinema and immersive show, Franck Ferrand invites you to enter the life of an emblematic historical figure. During 30 minutes and within an arena, the spectators will be immersed in this visual and sound show with a 360° videomapping on 700 m² of projection surface and ancient decor.
A chronological frieze
No less than 15 periods of world history and 400 major dates can be discovered thanks to this giant, digital and interactive timeline. 26 touch-sensitive terminals, freely accessible, will allow you to navigate through the centuries by displaying the animated illustration of the chosen date on the wall. A real stroll through the corridors of time and around the world.
The Cité de l'histoire is home to the virtual experience Eternelle Notre-Dame already offered to visitors since January 2022, which allows visitors to discover the cathedral of Paris through a 45-minute journey tracing 850 years of history.
The Cité de l'histoire will also house a conference center, a large bookstore and a restaurant.
