Garden Parvis: the most unifying summer festival in the Paris region!

Garden Parvis

Garden Parvis has become a must-attend event of the summer season at Paris La Défense! Returning from June 29 to July 29, 2023, this event combining food, drinks, chill, music and free entertainment once again attracted a large number of visitors! This new edition was more musical, more convivial and more colorful than ever!

For Garden Parvis 2023, the teams went for something new. More DJ sets, more spaces, more entertainment and always something to enjoy. And it was a winning bet! In just one month, the event welcomed over 200,000 people. Discover our top 5 highlights of this year's event.

1 - Madame Arthur and Les Désinvoltes in concert

On July 20, the Garden Parvis stage vibrated to the rhythm of the captivating performances of Madame Arthur's three creatures. The cabaret's DJ sets between each session and after the show created an electrifying atmosphere. The event was a real success, attracting almost 12,000 people. And despite the rain, Garden Parvis also closed in style with a fiery concert by Les Désinvoltes on July 27!

2. Bingo evenings

On Tuesday evenings, Garden Parvis was transformed into a meeting place for bingo enthusiasts. Every week, more than 120 players tried to win a prize! The lucky winners were able to take advantage of gifts offered by Paris La Défense partners, such as a night in a hotel, dinners in local restaurants, or concert tickets at the Paris La Défense Arena!

3. Food court and bars

It's impossible to talk about Garden Parvis without mentioning the large open-air food court and the various bars that delighted visitors every day for a month. The food courts and food trucks offered Asian, Italian and Mexican flavors. In the bars, colorful cocktails and mocktails were served up.

To top it all off, every Thursday evening, guests were treated to a gourmet meal prepared by talented chef Julien Sebbag!

4. Entertainment for children

Garden Parvis also brought families together! Every Wednesday, children were able to discover the DJ profession in workshops with the Pioneer school. Every Saturday, they were also able to take part in workshops on music and body awareness, dance initiation and theater games. Fun and educational activities that brightened up their days!

5. July 14th celebrations

July 14th took a memorable turn on Garden Parvis, with 12,000 people sharing breakfast while admiring the French Patrol and the spectacular air parade. What could be better than lounging on a chilienne with your eyes riveted to the sky? An unforgettable experience to celebrate the national holiday.

A CSR event

In keeping with the raison d'être it has set itself for 2021, Paris La Défense has made a point of ensuring that Garden Parvis meets a number of CSR objectives. To achieve this:

  • Two young people from the Association du Site de La Défense have joined the Garden Parvis team on integration contracts.
  • The furniture will be re-used for Garden Parvis 2024. The lawn was recovered by our partner Urban Soccer, and the furniture for the kids' area was donated to Secours Populaire 92.
  • The numerous plants and vegetation were resold at knock-down prices.
  • During the first two weeks of July, it was possible to donate your 1 euro deposit to the La Cloche association, which works to combat social exclusion by creating social links in the La Défense area. In 2 weeks, the association raised over 500 euros!
