Les coquelicots [The poppies] - Catherine Feff

The artwork

On the passageway that climbs from Avenue Albert Gleizes to Place de la Coupole, this giant painted wall with bucolic accents offers an explosive poetic and nostalgic note. In the ultra-modern context of La Défense, the plant theme of poppies takes on its originality and reminds us that in the city, there is life. This fresco also has the merit of reaching a wide audience by combining poetry and nostalgia, with a touch of humour.
