Paris La Défense develops social and environmental clauses in all its public contracts, calls for projects and agreements. As a result, the region applies a CSR approach in its many missions and, in particular, in its events. Our goal? Limit the environmental and behavioural impact of the event while improving its local integration.

What are the objectives of the ecodesign of an event?

• To favour the use of reusable and recyclable products and facilities,
• Sorting out the trash,
• Favour a sustainable restoration (anti-waste, etc...),
• Raising awareness of sustainable development issues.

More concretely :

• Christmas Market: Solidarity Chalet
  Throughout the festive season, associations and social and solidarity initiatives in connection with the Paris La Défense area take turns in the Christmas Village solidarity chalet. This is an opportunity to meet you and to appeal to your generosity.

• Garden Parvis and Urban Week
  Throughout the summer, Paris La Défense offers you two unmissable events: Garden Parvis and Urban Week! We impose on restaurateurs the use of reusable cups, also known as ecocup. Beyond their ecological aspect, these will allow you: either to donate them to the solidarity collection on site which recovers the price of the deposit to the benefit of a local association, or to deposit them at the deposit office and get a refund, or to keep them for yourself as they are reusable!

In addition, the partner associations of Paris La Défense take part in the life of the event: workshops dedicated to the benefit of their beneficiaries, organisation of aperitifs or solidarity petanque to encourage meetings with the general public: ... the events of Paris La Défense are beneficial to all!
