Developed under the management of Gecina and designed in collaboration with Ateliers Jean Nouvel, this YouFirst Campus Paris La Défense student residence, with more than 400 units, opened in September 2018. It offers a wide range of rental units, from studios to shared flats, with a range of services specifically adapted to the needs of students: lounge, cafeteria, laundry, gym, etc.

The furnished, equipped and connected studios range from 15m2 to 31m2 and the shared flats from 30 to 35m2 also furnished, equipped and connected. Some flats have balconies. The residence also has a commercial area of 145m2.

The YouFirst Campuséa student residence is part of the Rose de Cherbourg urban project, which aims to rebuild links between the business district and the city of Puteaux by giving more space to soft mobility, in particular through the transformation of the Rose de Cherbourg interchange into a suspended promenade. This development was inspired by the Dausmenil promenade in Paris and the High Line in New York.

The creation of a residential programme of this scale intended for students is a marker of Paris La Défense's desire to strengthen the presence of students and higher education. In total, nearly 72,000 students are present on the territory of Paris La Défense (32 higher education establishments).

All information on the student residence is available here.

A word about the architect

Jean Nouvel is known for the originality of his architectural projects. He has forged an international image through his achievements such as the Arab World Institute, the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art and the Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac Museum in Paris, the Lyon Opera House, the Lucerne Culture and Congress Centre - KKL (Switzerland), the Agbar Tower in Barcelona (Spain), the Reina Sofía National Art Centre Museum in Madrid (Spain)... In 2022, he will deliver his first tower at La Défense with the Hekla Tower project, almost 220m high, located in the immediate vicinity of the student housing tower, which enters into a dialogue with the Rose de Cherbourg, with a contrast of mutual seduction: glass / metal, transparency / mass, shine.
