Designed in the early 1990s by the architectural firm Andrault et Parat, The Curve is part of a complex that includes the Le Cap building. The building was heavily restructured in 2019-2020. A restaurant, a cafeteria and a magnificent roof top complete the ensemble. The building benefits from an exceptional location thanks to the complete redevelopment of the Rose de Cherbourg district, including the transformation of the highway interchange into a suspended pedestrian promenade as well as the Hekla Tower.
A word about the architects
Michel Andrault and Pierre Parat born in 1926 and 1928 respectively were both trained at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts, graduating in 1955. Two years later, they created ANPAR (Andrault & Parat).
They participated in the search for new forms in the field and became famous in Paris La Défense. In the 1990s, the agency built some of the largest skyscrapers in the business district. Société Générale, Séquoia, Kupka, The Curve or even Le Cap, the two architects are well known in the area!
