Together with the Lavoisier building, the La Fayette tower forms a double office complex. The two buildings have a square grid and sharp angles to break with the monotony of the volumes of the facades of first-generation buildings. To achieve this, the architects also chose a stone cladding mixed with smoked glass. On an urban scale, the ensemble is a guarantee of continuity between the perimeter of La Défense and the urban fabric of Courbevoie.

A word about the architects

Created in 1969, the Atelier d'art et d'architecture Sopha bases its originality on its multidisciplinary approach and its relations with industry. It deals with issues of urban planning, architecture, interior design, graphic design and design at the same time.
The workshop signs major real estate complexes in France and abroad. In La Défense, it creates the double ensemble La Fayette-Lavoisier.
