Inspire, an innovative timber-frame building

Located in the Bellini Arago district, the Inspire building is part of an area undergoing major change. The seven-storey timber-framed building will offer 22,300 sq. metres of floor space, divided into 2,600 sq. metres of floor space. It will also provide occupants with 1,400 sq. metres of green rooftop space and 550 sq. metres of accessible terraces.

Around the building, there will be a 340 m² open space, which will be planted with around thirty trees.

With its crown shape, Inspire will have a monumental atrium at its heart. Architect Anthony Béchu wanted to give the building a majestic entrance and a double-height lobby designed to be the nerve centre of the building: a place to meet and socialise.

On the ground floor of the building, but independent of its operation, a fitness centre and a brasserie will complete the range of services on offer.

In terms of infrastructure, the building has a mezzanine and two basement levels housing a delivery area, 235 car parking spaces, dedicated parking for electric cars, 120 motorbike spaces and a 338 m² storage area for bicycles.

A controlled carbon footprint

Inspire aims to have a low carbon impact. The building's framework will be made of wood, a material from eco-managed forests with proven thermal, humidity and acoustic properties that will help reduce the building's carbon footprint.

The building is aiming for triple environmental certification: HQE Bâtiments Durables, BREEAM and OSMOZ, a certification focused on the living environment. At the same time, two labels are also being targeted: the E+C- label with an E2C1 level, and the BBC Effinergie label.

A world designed around conviviality

The building will accommodate up to 1,800 employees. The offices are also designed to encourage flex-office working, with planted areas for employees, wide staircases with landings for informal discussions, and a duplex canteen. The building's lobby will be equipped with a snack bar and a Juice bar. The roof terrace will also be a meeting place, with a surface area of 2,500 m² open to the outside.
