Square de la Dame-Blanche

Square de la Dame-Blanche

The Square de la Dame Blanche, located on the edge of the Circular, was a site with interesting shrubs and woodlands that were neglected, often squatted and polluted with waste. Following the takeover of management by Paris La Défense, a policy of rehabilitation was initiated in 2016 with a gradual restoration of the shrubbery and wooded area.

The square is part of the continuity of the pedestrian pathways of the Boieldieu district, towards the Villon district and downtown Puteaux. The lawn is only mowed around the paths, and the rest of the site is maintained by a late mowing. Maples, ashes and black pines make up the majority of the tree species. The undergrowth benefits from a soil covered with leaves and creeping ivy, allowing to welcome an interesting biodiversity.

This space has been labeled eco-garden in 2022.
