Near Place Nelson Mandela and located on Terrasse 10, the Arc Group and the Nicolas Michelin & Associés agency have built 150 housing units, including 61 social rental units, 39 housing units for supervised home ownership, 50 housing units for self-accession and 1,500 sq.m of business premises.

The residential building consists of four nine-storey white volumes. Alternating high and low volumes, the cut-out design allows multiple orientations and frees up deep terraces. In addition, the complex meets ambitious energy and environmental objectives, enabling it to qualify as a low-energy building (Bâtiment Basse Consommation - BBC).

On the terraces side, the volumes are rhythmic in their thickness, as they are cut at an angle, each offering a south-western side facade coloured in deep blue. On the French Provinces side, the volumes are set back and slightly bent at gentle angles, offering multiple orientations with deep terraces capable of interacting with the urban and social renewal project of the Cité des Provinces Françaises, which will develop at its foot.

Housing on the terraces of the University

This programme takes place on the University Terraces (Terraces 9 to 11) which have the particularity of being treated on the theme of country gardens.

The construction of this programme is part of the urban renewal project undertaken by the City of Nanterre in the French Provinces district within the framework of an agreement with the ANRU with the construction of 61 housing units for the OMHLM.

The first inhabitants settled in June 2013. The signing of the deed of sale took place on 29 March 2011 and the laying of the foundation stone took place on 4 July 2011. The works started at the beginning of April 2011.
