On Terrasse 12, the Les Champs de l'Arche program comprises 166 studio to 5-room apartments, including 70 social housing units (ICF La Sablière). It was delivered in June 2013. Located at the foot of the Nanterre-Prefecture RER station, the Champs de l'Arche building also houses a post office, bakery, dry cleaner, restaurant and shops on the first floor, covering an area of almost 1,178 m².

Its construction was entrusted to the developer Promaffine / Crédit Agricole Immobilier. The architect Fabrice Dusapin designed a project with a play of volumes and multiple loopholes from the living rooms of the apartments and perspectives by optimizing the contribution of light.

The construction of this building was strongly constrained by the complex geography of a site marked by the intertwining of underground infrastructures, with the A14 motorway and the RER A suburban train line.

Terrace 12 as a belvedere, 6 metres above the ground of Place Nelson Mandela, will house a program of commercial premises and the cultural space La Terrasse.

The project completes the sequence of the first Terrasses and turns towards the University Terrasses, ensuring the transition between the monumentality of the Hauts-de-Seine Prefecture and the more domestic scale of the French Provinces district.
