The first tower in the Faubourg de l'Arche built at the end of the 1990s, the Cèdre Tower has been transformed. It will be replaced by the Emblem tower in 2021. After the departure of EDF in 2019, the tower will be restructured to make it more environmentally friendly and to meet the new expectations of users. Today, the employees installed in Emblem enjoy a rooftop on the 26th floor, renovated spaces, a double-height reception hall and parking spaces for electric cars and bicycles.

Its contemporary appearance keeps the codes of its first version, revealing its tinted windows and playing with two materials: glass and stone. The panels of the old facade were reused and removed by a European Union reuse network. The new ones are made of ultra-high performance fibre-reinforced concrete, which refines the silhouette of the tower and makes the façade more durable.

A word about the architect

The Cèdre Tower was designed by the Conceptua agency, which was created by the architects Michel Andrault and Nicolas Ayoub. They also designed the Egée and Adria towers. After its takeover by RedTree Capital, it was the JLL group's Wand division, which specialises in architecture, that redesigned the tower. JLL - Wand is committed to giving a new life to buildings, more sustainable and in line with the new uses of employees. Here, the wishes of the architects of yesteryear are respected: the neutrality of the architecture becomes a quality, because inside, it is synonymous with flexibility.
