Aromatic Garden - Philippe Ughetto

Inside the Dome of the Westfield Les Quatre Temps shopping centre, installed for the inauguration of this extension, there is an aromatic garden consisting of 180 panels and 173 metres long. A photo exhibition illustrating fruit, vegetables, foliage and trees is displayed on these panels. The artist brings his artwork to life with light effects that give it dynamism and originality.

A word about the artist

Born in 1954, Philippe Ughetto devotes himself to photography and collaborates with renowned photographers such as Helmut Newton. He plays with light, transparencies and materials to propose an extraordinary work. He proposes to deconstruct the artificial categories that strangle creation (baroque, raw, conceptual), revealing their shortcomings in his art: in this way, he abolishes the boundaries of representation.
