La Terrasse

La Terrasse, located on boulevard de Pesaro in Nanterre, is a contemporary art space where artists can exhibit their work. The center develops a program of exhibitions, cultural events and art in the public space. Over fifty works can be seen in public spaces in Nanterre. Keep your eyes peeled!

Whether painting, sculpture or photography, the 145 m² multi-purpose hall is the perfect place to show off your art to the curious. Some works are exhibited on the roof top, while others can be viewed from outside, 24/7, thanks to the 40 m² showcase overlooking Place Nelson-Mandela.

La Terrasse offers guided tours, debates and conferences, as well as art workshops. Drawing, painting, engraving, installation, sculpture, modeling: these workshops are for all ages and levels. With 10 artist-teachers for 200 students, the work carried out throughout the year culminates in a final exhibition to showcase this abundant pool of talent. As for the center's cultural activities, for younger children and families, each guided tour is followed by an art workshop, adapted to the age of the participants and their interests. Visits last between 1 and 2 hours.

Opening hours and days : Wednesday to Friday, from 12:00 to 18:00 and Saturday from 14:00 to 18:00. Works exhibited in the window visible 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
