Square des Corolles

Square des Corolles

This local square, laid out in 1995, is built on the theme of an orchard, with lines of shrubs that bloom in every season: Prunus Sublirtella "Automnalis", Amelanchiers, Lilac of India - Alternating bands of lawns, shrubs and perennials.

This 4,000 m² green space offers a peaceful and green setting for visitors to La Défense. Completely renovated in 2017, it is distinguished by its contemporary design and varied vegetation. The plants and shrubs were chosen for their resistance to the harsh climatic conditions of the Paris region, but also for their aesthetics. One can discover Japanese maples, chestnut trees, roses, lavender and many other species. The Square des Corolles is an ideal place to take a walk for the inhabitants of La Défense and the workers of the district, who can take a nature break in the middle of the city.

The Square des Corolles is also a place of relaxation and leisure for children. It has a playground for the youngest, with slides, swings and balance games. Parents can enjoy the many benches and rest areas set up in the shade of the trees.
