As a counterpoint to the parallelepipeds that occupy most of the La Défense slab, all the towers have curved forms that interact with the sinuous path of the traffic lanes along which they are located. The objective? To give these buildings the quality of insertion and the expected urban scale!
A word about the architects
Michel Andrault and Pierre Parat, born in 1926 and 1928 respectively, both trained at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, graduating in 1955, and two years later creating ANPAR (Andrault & Parat).
The three Kupka buildings reflect the agency's clear evolution. Charged with the development of the Valmy district, the two architects will indeed give it a strongly marked face.
