A word about the architect

Jean-François Jodry was born in 1944 and studied at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. Close to various architectural studios, he already participated in several development projects in parallel with his studies. Sensitized by the consideration of urban problems in the art of building, he entered the Institute of Urban Planning of the University of Paris in 1967.

After spending two years in Tunisia, he joined forces with Jean-Paul Viguier. During their eighteen years of collaboration, they carried out numerous urban planning operations, housing, offices and public spaces, including the Guillaumet. They also designed the André-Citroën Park and the French Pavilion at the Universal Exhibition in Seville. In 1992, they won the prize for the most beautiful metal construction works.
