With its 47 storeys and 308 homes, Défense 2000 is now considered the tallest residential tower in France, and the tallest in Europe on delivery. Standing flush with the ground, its balcony location offers exceptional panoramic views, and a panoramic gallery is available to residents.

The façade of Défense 2000 is composed of transversal sails that flare downwards for bracing. This widening is also accentuated by "fins" rising up along the first levels.

Anxious to offer a quality and functional product, the three architects are planning some exceptional duplex apartments on the top floors. A nursery school is also housed at the foot of the tower.

A word about the architects

Known to be one of the main contractors in the Beaugrenelle district, located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, Michel Proux is familiar with slab urbanism. He worked with Michel Holley on the Olympiads in the capital's 13th arrondissement.

In 1974, in the midst of the Beaugrenelle project, which he took over after the death of Raymond Lopez in 1966, he joined forces with Demonès and Srot to launch Défense 2000. Far from stopping there, he collaborated, on Henry Bernard's proposal, with Michel Herbert on an original project for La Défense: the Manhattan Tower.
